Barn door
A sliding door on an exposed track. Adds character to apartments, hotels and offices.
A barn door is a sliding door hung on an exposed, wall-mounted track. It combines the space savings of a sliding door with a design accent, popular in modern apartments, hotels and offices.
Recommended uses
- Bathrooms and walk-in closets in apartments
- Hotel suites
- Meeting rooms and coworking spaces
Installation considerations
- The wall must support the track and the weight of the door.
- Since it does not close against a frame, it offers less acoustic privacy than a swing door.
- [PENDIENTE: herraje de granero suministrado o recomendado]
