Swing door
A single leaf hinged on one side. The most common choice for bedrooms, bathrooms and offices.
A single swing door pivots on side hinges. It is the most widely used configuration in residential, hospitality and office projects thanks to easy installation, good closure and compatibility with every type of lockset.
Recommended uses
- Bedrooms and bathrooms in residential projects
- Hotel guest rooms and back-of-house areas
- Private offices and meeting rooms
Installation considerations
- Requires clearance for the door swing.
- Properly install and shim at least three 3" × 3" hinges per door, depending on its weight (warranty letter recommendation).
- Install the lockset immediately after hanging the door.
